When For Black Girls discusses “Black girls and Black womxn,” we include any cis, trans, gender-expansive, non-binary, and/or any girl or femme-identified person who identifies as Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian, Arab, Pacific Islander, and/or other womxn of Color.
For Black Girls is dedicated to championing the empowerment of Black women and girls through a multifaceted approach encompassing education, literacy, arts, community, and advocacy. Our mission is to provide holistic services that address their diverse needs, cultivate a lifelong network of support, and dismantle barriers to equity and opportunity.
Our vision is to forge a society where every Black girl and woman, irrespective of her circumstances, enjoys unfettered access to the resources and support necessary to realize her boundless potential. We aim to create a future where every Black girl and woman stands tall, unbound by limitations, and equipped to chart her own path to success.
