Santana is a Bronx native who recently entered the spoken word scene late 2022. Her love of writing began with the realization of just how powerful writing could be as she bore witness to the way her words sparked life in others. It has since played an integral part in her self-discovery journey.
In her work you’ll find the pain of broken promises, the uncertainty of love and faith restored by forces seen and unseen.
Today she has taken to stages at Ivy House Studios hosted by Ray Guzman (@regrets.nothing), featured at Neighborhood Kid’s Cinco de Mayo pop-up and won third place at the Nuyorican Wednesday Night Slam hosted by JRose (@therosegardenevents)
Her goal is to prove to herself and anyone willing to take from her example that it doesn’t matter who doubts you, so long as you make the decision to stop doubting yourself one day. Do it in spite of every obstacle and fear.
