As a cosplayer, I'm really into the aesthetic of James Cameron's Aliens.

2) You played Sam, and Newt. How was it?

It was quite an eye opener. It showed a side of Newt that hadn't really been seen before, and seeing a side of myself that I'd never seen before.

What were some fun moments while filming the high school scenes?

I'm a straight A+ student so it was quite difficult for me to get in and out of the schoolyard without a teacher seeing.

We really wanted Newt's voice to be really big in the movie. We also wanted her to be funny so we made a lot of jokes during the run-through, and I found it really hard to keep my fellow cast mates from laughing.

While filming, we discovered that Newt had a lot of sexual innuendoes she was putting into her dialogue, which was really fun!

I wanted to make Newt come across as much of a tomboy as possible. Even though she's a beautiful woman, I wanted to keep her as strong as possible.

What was your favorite scene to film?

Probably the fight scene in the alien, it was the funnest. We were fighting and chasing each other around.

It didn't hurt that the cast and crew actually looked like they were having a lot of fun while filming.

How was it working with the makeup team on the creature?

It was really fun. Having to keep your own costume on and then being able to add prosthetic makeup took some getting used to.

It was so cool seeing the Alien costume as it was, with eyes and everything. It looks way more human now.

Where do you see this new project going? Do you want to do more like this?

I definitely see myself in more horror type films. I'm also looking at more science fiction things as well.

3) What is your next project?

I'm working on an X-Men Origins: Wolverine sequel. We've just finished shooting the first episode for the show. I'll probably be reprising the role.
